Sign inManagement software for small and large productions.
The script, the breakdown, the schedule, the shot list, continuity, call sheets and the accounts — in one place, following the order a production actually happens in. What the script supervisor writes on the day is the same record the accountant reads at the end of it.
Script and revisions
Every approved draft kept in its colour, frozen. What the supervisor draws on the page carries forward to the next revision — but only onto scenes that did not change, because ink against the wrong line is worse than ink you have to redraw.
Breakdown and schedule
The line-producer sheet per scene, a stripboard, and a day-out-of-days. A keyword pass proposes rows from the action lines and a person confirms them; nothing auto-detected is treated as true.
Shots, blocking, boards
The shot list with size, angle, movement and lens, an overhead plan with marks, and a storyboard deck that prints in the order the day shoots.
On the day
Script supervisor mode: the lined script, takes, circles and notes, built for a tablet standing up. It works with no signal — takes are written to the device and go up when there is a bar.
Paperwork
Releases, deal memos and licences from a library you can edit, sent for signature and tracked. Union agreements for SAG-AFTRA, DGA, IATSE and Teamsters, with who is in which.
The money
Budget against cost, purchase orders, invoices, petty cash, timecards, the check register, a general ledger and financial statements. Receivables from the first claim through to writing one off.
Production software is trusted with things that are expensive to get wrong. These are the rules the whole system is written to, and they are the reason it sometimes refuses to do what you asked.
It says what it does not know
A rate nobody has entered is absent, not zero. A budget total that is missing eleven rates says so rather than presenting a confident, final number that happens to be wrong. Half-right is treated as worse than blank, because blank prompts somebody to go and find out.
Nothing is invented
No union rate, fringe percentage, overtime threshold or tax table is supplied by this software. The structure ships; the figures come from your own executed agreement. Net pay is never calculated — that belongs to a payroll company, and a number invented here would surface in April.
The database decides who sees what
Access is enforced in the database, not in the screens. An account without the Budget & Cost grant is refused the rows — and told it was refused, rather than shown an empty page that reads as a production with no costs.
Your files stay yours
Storage is the production’s own drive. This holds a pointer to it, never a credential, and never becomes the place your footage lives.
It works when the signal does not
A basement, a stage, a location an hour from a tower. Takes and lining are written to the device first and reach the server when they can, and the screen says plainly which is which.
